It’s Never Too Early to Start Learning
We understand that sending your child to nursery is a huge milestone, so want to reassure you that your child will be in safe hands. Whether it is for a few mornings, afternoons, or a full week, here at Your Montessori Nursery in Iver Heath, we have a solution to fit your needs.
As part of your child’s settling process, our priority is to get to know not only your child, but your family too. We take the time to learn everything we can about what your child likes to do, what they dislike, what they like to eat and how they like to be put to sleep. Routine is essential, especially in the early years, and so we work hard to create a balanced routine for your child, including playing with the other children, lots of activities, eating and sleeping. All of this will help your child to feel settled at nursery.
If you already have a set routine for your child at home, we’re more than happy to follow this, to make the transition from home to nursery as smooth as possible. On the other hand, if you are struggling to settle your child into a routine at home, we can help you by getting them into a good routine at nursery based on our typical daily structure. We believe that a good routine will help your child settle into our nursery and help them flourish, both with us and at home
We hold various events throughout the year, such as our Mother’s Day breakfast and Father’s Day fry up to grow our parent partnership. These are special opportunities for our nursery parents to see our nursery in action and allow them to give us valuable feedback on what they like, or even things they think we can do better. In addition to this, we hold regular parent’s evenings to discuss your child’s development and at the end of each day, you will be given a full de-brief on that day’s activities.
As young parents ourselves, we went through the same process as you are now looking for the right day nursery for our children. We wanted to make sure our child was in the right place with the ideal setting, which suited both us and the children. We visited tens of nurseries trying to find the perfect place for us, but more often than not, we walked out of the nursery thinking “We could do so much better”… so we decided we would!
